Travis was born and raised in Chattanooga and has been selling real estate since 2007. He knows this area and this market better than most. He cut his teeth in the family business, Close Furniture, on Market Street in downtown Chattanooga. He and his wife, Tina, have raised their family on Signal Mountain since 2002. He is proud to both call the area home and to help others do the same.

He graduated from Middle Tennessee State with a B.S in Mass Communications and sold television and radio advertising for years before making the shift to Real Estate. When he is not selling real estate, you will find him in volunteer leadership roles within real estate at the local, state and national levels. Travis enjoys unwinding at home while watching football, smoking cigars, or honing his pit master skills. His great escapes include either traveling with his family or visiting with his son serving in the U.S. Air Force.

As the “first lady” of Travis Close Homes, Tina was there at the genesis. She has always been the trusted adviser of this real estate venture, though she has enjoyed a long and colorful career in corporate finance and small business ownership of her own. In 2022, Tina and Travis decided clients should benefit directly from her vast business acumen that was becoming more needed in a changing market and real estate industry.
She brings her gift of discernment, professional experience, and eye for enduring design to work for our real estate clients via data analysis, customer service, operational efficacy and strategic design. Tina marries the things of old that endure and delight with reliable tools, techniques, and data to provide each client and strategic partner with personalized attention and relevant information.
Tina sets the bar for deliverables and interactions ensuring you are always engaged with the utmost respect, professionalism, and discretion. It is her goal to deliver a seamless continuum of bespoke real estate services to you with such detailed care that you can’t imagine better service or expertise anywhere.
When she is not at work you may find her being a mother to a very social daughter or pursuing her passions of reading, cooking, enjoying delicious foods with great company or playing with her two chocolate labs. When she has time to indulge the explorer in her, you will likely find her in beautiful places either bounding with natural beauty or flush with historical significance, or visiting her son that is serving this great nation as an U.S. Airman.

Rose engages you with energy, humility and calm with each interaction as she becomes your real estate assistant. When she asks you anything, it is a genuine inquiry designed to understand your needs as your trusted helper. She earnestly desires to provide bespoke service of personalized care to each client.
Having joined Travis Close Homes in September of 2022, Rose quickly demonstrated her organizational skills, technological efficiencies, and deep desire to simply serve others. Her skills in customer service and care roles ranging from infant to elderly and her passion for real estate are perpetually evident as she naturally works from the heart.
When she is not providing fabled service, Rose enjoys spending time with her husband cooking or walking her lovely Red Bank neighborhood or enjoying time with friends and family. As a Knoxville, TN native and newlywed, she also enjoys exploring the exciting city of Chattanooga and searching for her dream home.

Griffin supports TCH clients as a licensed assistant. He shadows much of Travis’s work as he hones his skills and understanding. He enjoys working in the field and meeting folks. So, you may find him at an open house or showing properties. Between clients you may find him installing signs, lockboxes, or creative material at our various developments and listings.
Griffin was born and raised in North Georgia. He graduated from Gordon Lee High School and went on to play college baseball. He soon acknowledged the classroom was not the path for his independent spirit, so he spent time working in carpentry and with custom cabinets. This led to a deeper interest in real estate.
Griffin also invests much of his time in his own real estate career with Real Estate Partners Chattanooga. When he is not pursuing his career goals, he enjoys cycling, mixed martial arts and hanging out in Coolidge Park.
