best place to get a cigar in chattanooga
The cigar scene in Chattanooga is growing but unfortunately there are not a lot of great options for purchasing or to sit and enjoy a cigar in Chattanooga. I would love to see someone come into town and do a nice high end cigar club like you see in other markets. When I travel I have my favorite locations in most cities that I travel to but here are home there are not a lot of options.
Burns Tobacconist - 110 Jordan Drive Chattanooga TN 37421
Burns still touts that they have the largest humidor in Tennessee. The cigar shop is not the largest that I have been in and the lounge area is small but it is under the same roof as the Chattanooga Billiard Club. They do have a good cigar selection but if you are in the Downtown Chattanooga area it is not very convenient.
Cigar Man - 514 East Main Street
If you are going to be in the downtown area this is going to be your closest option. They have a pretty good selection of cigars. I think at last count they were around 65 brands. They do have a pretty decent lounge area and they offer memberships and host private events there as well.
Chattanooga has a rich history in the tobacco industry, particularly in the late 1800s and early 1900s. There were several cigar factories in the area during that time, producing cigars that were known for their quality and craftsmanship. Some of these cigars carried the Chattanooga name, and they were well-regarded among cigar enthusiasts.
